1. About these terms
These terms apply when you engage Lion Development for website design, build, hosting, maintenance or related services. By signing up to our service you agree to these terms.
2. Our service
The managed website package includes website design, build, UK hosting, security, backups, reasonable content updates and technical support, for the fees set out on our pricing page.
3. Fees and term
The package costs £149 upfront and £89 per month for 12 months. The 12-month term begins on the launch date of your website. You may pay the remaining months early to take full ownership sooner.
4. Ownership
Once the 12-month agreement is complete, the finished website is transferred to you and is yours to keep. Until then, the design and code remain the property of Lion Development as part of the managed service.
5. Your responsibilities
- Providing the content (text, images, branding) needed for the website in a timely manner.
- Keeping account details, domain credentials and login information secure.
- Ensuring you have the rights to use any content you supply to us.
6. Reasonable updates
"Reasonable updates" means routine text, image and small layout changes within the scope of your existing website. Larger structural changes, additional pages or new features may be quoted separately.
7. SEO and results
We build every website with strong technical and on-page SEO foundations. Specific search rankings, traffic or sales cannot be guaranteed because results depend on many factors outside our control.
8. Liability
Lion Development's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid by you in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
